Chat404 accounts are anonymous — no email, no username, no personal information is attached to your account. Your account identifier is a randomly generated UUID stored on your device.
When you first register, we store a salted hash of your device identifier to prevent a single device from creating unlimited free trials. This hash is retained after account deletion — it is not linked to your UUID once your account is removed, and is used solely to enforce the free-trial quota. We plan to remove this mechanism once it is no longer needed to protect the service.
To request account deletion, email us at support@s6industries.com with the subject line Delete Account and include your UUID (found in the app under Settings). We will permanently delete your account within 7 days.
No message content is ever stored server-side, so there is nothing additional to delete.
